When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human IL-20 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Preparation: Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IL-20. Anti-Human IL-20-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human IL-20 matrix.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human IL-20 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-20 (500-P190GBt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IL-20.

Target Information
Cytokines that signal through Class II receptors form a distinct family that includes the interferons and interleukin 10 (IL-10). Recent identification of several IL-10 homologs has defined a cytokine subfamily that includes AK155, IL-19, IL-20, IL-22, and IL-24. IL-20 belongs to the IL-10 family and plays a role in skin inflammation and the development of hematopoietic cells. Little is known about its other biological functions and clinical implications. These cytokines display pro-inflammatory activities in different tissues, including skin.
