AGO1 Antibody (PA5-78737) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of AGO1 using anti-AGO1 antibody (Product # PA5-78737) . AGO1 was detected in a section of U2OS cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 2μg/mL rabbit anti-AGO1 antibody (Product # PA5-78737) overnight at 4°C. Target Information
AGO1 is a member of the Argonaute family of proteins which play a role in RNA interference. The protein is highly basic, and contains a PAZ domain and a PIWI domain. It may interact with dicer1 and play a role in short-interfering-RNA-mediated gene silencing. AGO1 binds to miRNAs or siRNAs and represses the translation of mRNAs.
