ALDH9A1 Antibody (TA890045) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY ALDH9A1(RC216921, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-ALDH9. Positive lysates LY424566 (100 µg) and LC424566 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Target Information
ALDH9A1 belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family of proteins. The protein has a high activity for oxidation of gamma-aminobutyraldehyde and other amino aldehydes. The enzyme catalyzes the dehydrogenation of gamma-aminobutyraldehyde to gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This isozyme is a tetramer of identical 54-kD subunits.
