BCAS2 Antibody (PA5-101470) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of BCAS2 in A549 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with BCAS2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-101470) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total BCAS2.
Target Information
cDNA encoding BCAS2 has been isolated. The deduced 225-amino acid protein contains a central potential N-glycosylation site and multiple N-terminal potential phosphorylation sites. Northern and Southern blot analyses demonstrates expression of a 1.5-kb transcript at various levels in multiple breast cancer cell lines, with greatest amplification in BT-20 and MCF-7 cells. BCAS2 is ubiquitously expressed in normal tissues.
