BHLHE40 Antibody (CF810131) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY BHLHE40 (RC210294, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-BHLH. Positive lysates LY418509 (100 µg) and LC418509 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, we strongly recommend performing another round of desalting. (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7KMWCO, 0.5 mL, Product # 89882)
Target Information
Differentiated embryo-chondrocyte expressed gene 1 (DEC1) is an important protein involved in embryonic cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. It has also recently been shown to be regulated by hypoxia. The loss of DEC1 expression may be an early event in the development of lung cancer, while DEC1 may be up-regulated by hypoxia in other cancers and in more extreme hypoxia it may have a role in cell death.
