Collagen I/II/III is a gene target that codes for various types of collagen proteins. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and is found in bones, skin, tendons, cartilage, and other connective tissues. Collagen I is the most common type of collagen and is responsible for providing strength and structure to bones, tendons, and skin. Collagen II is found in cartilage and is essential for maintaining its strength and elasticity. Collagen III is also found in skin and other connective tissues and plays a role in wound healing. The gene target Collagen I/II/III is important for understanding the function and regulation of collagen production, as well as for developing therapies for conditions related to collagen deficiencies or disorders.
