Immunohistochemistry analysis of Desmoplakin in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer using. Samples were incubated with Desmoplakin Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-96741) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Target Information
Desmoplakin (DSP) is a major high molecular weight protein of the desmosomes. It is involved in the organization of the desmosomal cadherin-plakoglobin complexes into discrete plasma membrane domains and in the anchoring of intermediate filaments to the desmosomes. Desmoplakin mutations are associated with Keratoderma and cardiomyopathy.
