Western blot analysis of ENOX2 in extracts of MCF7 cells. Samples were incubated with ENOX2 Recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-51316) using a dilution of 1:2,000 followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:200,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit. Exposure time: 180s.

Target Information
This gene is a tumor-specific member of the ECTO-NOX family of genes that encode cell surface NADH oxidases. The encoded protein has two enzymatic activities: catalysis of hydroquinone or NADH oxidation, and protein disulfide interchange. The protein also displays prion-like properties. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
