Detection of human and mouse Epsin 1 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, mouse TCMK-1, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Epsin 1 antibody (Product # A304-525A) (lot A304-525A-1) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the epsin protein family. The encoded protein binds clathrin and is involved in the endocytosis of clathrin-coated vesicles. Loss of function of this gene is associated with reduced tumor growth and progression in certain cancer types.
