HES5 Antibody (MA5-53026) in WB
Western Blot analysis of HES5. Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with HES5 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-53026) with a dilution of 1:5,000, followed by HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody with a dilution of 1:20,000. Image was developed using FeQTM ECL Substrate Kit.

Target Information
Hairy and Enhancer-of-split homologues 5 (HES5) is a helix-loop-helix transcriptional factor that negatively regulates cell differentiation during embryogenesis. It contains one basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) domain and one Orange domain. HES5 is reported to be a down stream effector of the Notch Signaling Pathway and is expressed in advanced ovarian serous adenocarcinomas as well as in cervical squamous carcinoma. Reports also suggest that HES5 is abundantly expressed in osteoarthritis along with Notch1 and Jagged1.
