Specificity: Clone W6/32 recognizes the human MHC class I molecules HLA-A, -B, and -C.
Endotoxin Level: ≤ 0.5 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method. Purity: >95% by SDS Page; ≥98% monomer by analytical SEC.
Product Preparation: Functional grade preclinical antibodies are manufactured in an animal free facility using only In vitro protein free cell culture techniques and are purified by a multi-step process including the use of protein A or G to assure extremely low levels of endotoxins, leachable protein A or aggregates. Pathogen Testing: To protect mouse colonies from infection by pathogens and to assure that experimental preclinical data is not affected by such pathogens, all of Leinco Purified Functional PLATINUMTM antibodies are tested and guaranteed to be negative for all pathogens in the IDEXX IMPACT I Mouse Profile.
Storage and Handling: This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored at 2-8 C. For long term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -20 C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
This antibody has been tested in the following applications: Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry-Fresh Frozen, Flow Cytometry, CODEX®, Blocking.
HLA-class I major histocompatibility (MHC) antigens are intrinsic membrane glycoproteins expressed on nucleated cells and noncovalently associated with an invariant beta2 microglobulin. They carry foreign determinants important for immune recognition by cytotoxic T cells, thus important for anti-viral and anti-tumor defense. Human HLA-class I antigens are represented by HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C molecules.
HLA and MHC antibodies play a significant role in Immunopeptidomics, facilitating the identification and characterization of neoantigens through high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem Mass Spectrometry.
