MEKK2 Antibody (A302-164A) in WB
Detection of human MEKK2 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MEKK2 antibody (Product # A302-164A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 0.4 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. MEKK2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MEKK2 antibody A302-163A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 3 minutes (A and B).

Target Information
MAP3K2 (MEKK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that activates kinases involved in the MAP kinase signaling pathway. This kinase preferentially activates other kinases involved in the MAP kinase signaling pathway. This kinase has been shown to directly phosphorylate and activate Ikappa B kinases, and thus plays a role in NF-kappa B signaling pathway. This kinase has also been found to bind and activate protein kinase C-related kinase 2, which suggests its involvement in a regulated signaling process.
