FIGURE: 1 / 3
Mouse: 99% identity (118/119 amino acids identical). Human: 98% identity (116/119 amino acids identical) ~60% identity with Neuroligin-1. ~40% identity with Neuroligin-2.
1 µg/mL of MA5-45698 was sufficient for detection of Neuroligin 3 in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.|Detects approximately 110kDa. Does not cross-react with Neuroligin-1, -2, -4 or -4.
This antibody was formerly sold as clone S110-29.
This gene encodes a member of a family of neuronal cell surface proteins. Members of this family may act as splice site-specific ligands for beta-neurexins and may be involved in the formation and remodeling of central nervous system synapses. Mutations in this gene may be associated with autism and Asperger syndrome. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
