NQO1 Antibody (PA5-142698) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of NQO1 in HepG2 cells using NQO1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142698). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (5 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL), showing cytoplasmic staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (5 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL).

Target Information
NQO1 is a member of the NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone) family and a cytoplasmic 2-electron reductase. This FAD-binding protein forms homodimers and reduces quinones to hydroquinones. NQO1's enzymatic activity prevents the one electron reduction of quinones that results in the production of radical species. Altered expression of the protein has been seen in many tumors and is also associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD).
