PIKE Antibody (A304-263A) in IP
Detection of human PIKE by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from Jurkat cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PIKE antibody (Product # A304-263A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. PIKE was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PIKE antibody A304-262A. For blotting immunoprecipitated PIKE, A304-262A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the centaurin gamma-like family. It mediates anti-apoptotic effects of nerve growth factor by activating nuclear phosphoinositide 3-kinase. It is overexpressed in cancer cells, and promotes cancer cell invasion. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
