Phospho-GYS1 (Ser640) Antibody (PA1-26469) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry of Phospho-GYS1 was performed in formalin fixed, paraffin embedded human prostate tissue. Antigen retrieval was heat-induced, and a Phospho-GYS1 (Ser640) Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA1-26469) was used at 5 µg/mL. Staining: antibody as precipitated red signal with a hematoxylin purple nuclear counterstain.

Target Information
Glycogen Synthase 1 (GYS1) catalyzes the addition of glucose monomers to the growing glycogen molecule through the formation of alpha-1,4-glycoside linkages. Mutations in this gene are associated with muscle glycogen storage disease. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
