Western blot of Phospho-NLRC4 (Ser533) in mouse NLRC4 (Ser533) recombinant phosphorylated peptide (lanes 1-4). The blot was dephosphorylated with lambda phosphatase (lanes 2 & 4) then the blot was probed with rat Phospho-NLRC4 (Ser533) monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-47631) (lanes 1 & 2) and rabbit polyclonal anti-NLRC4 (a.a. 525-538) (lanes 3 & 4).

This antibody antibody detects a 110 kDa* protein on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of PMA-differentiated THP1 human macrophages. In addition, the antibody detects a mouse recombinant phospho-NLRC4 (Ser-533) peptide, but does not detect this peptide after lambda phosphatase treatment.
Target Information
NLRC4 encodes a member of the caspase recruitment domain-containing NLR family. Family members play essential roles in innate immune response to a wide range of pathogenic organisms, tissue damage and other cellular stresses. Mutations in this gene result in autoinflammation with infantile enterocolitis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
