7F1 reacts with the 39 kDa RAP protein, which is cosynthesized with human LRP/a2MW (low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein/a2-macro-globulin receptor). It inhibits the binding of ligands, e.g. tPA, uPA, VLDL, liproprotein lipase, and a2-macroglobulin-proteinase complexes to LRP/a2MW.
