RPA2 Antibody (MA1-870) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of RPA34 in HeLa cells. Cells were grown on chamber slides and fixed with formaldehyde prior to staining. Cells were probed without (control) or with a RPA34 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA1-870) at a dilution of 1:200 overnight at 4 C, washed with PBS and incubated with a DyLight-488 conjugated secondary antibody (Product # 35503). RPA34 staining (green), F-Actin staining with Phalloidin (red) and nuclei with DAPI (blue) is shown. Images were taken at 60X magnification.

MA1-870 detects RPA p34 in human and rat cells.
MA1-870 has been successfully used in Western blotting, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry (paraffin) procedures. By Western blot it detects a 34 kDa protein representing RPA p34.
The MA1-870 immunogen is the RPA p34 subunit isolated from HeLa cells.
Target Information
Required for DNA recombination, repair and replication. The activity of RP-A is mediated by single-stranded DNA binding and protein interactions. Required for the efficient recruitment of the DNA double-strand break repair factor RAD51 to chromatin in response to DNA damage.
