Western blot analysis of SLC34A2 using SLC34A2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-143910). Electrophoresis was performed on a 8% SDS-PAGE gel at 80V (Stacking gel)/120V (Resolving gel) for 2 hours. The sample well of each lane was loaded with 30 µg of sample under reducing conditions. Lane 1: human 293T whole cell lysates. Lane 2: human HepG2 whole cell lysates. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.

Target Information
SLC34A2 encodes a protein that is a pH-sensitive sodium-dependent phosphate transporter. Phosphate uptake is increased at lower pH. Defects in this gene are a cause of pulmonary alveolar microlithiasis. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
