Three inhibitors of RT-PCR (IgG, heparin, and hematin) were added to real-time PCR reactions using TaqPath™ 1-Step RT-qPCR Master Mix and competitor kits to assess the magnitude of Ct shift caused by these inhibitors. Graphs show the change in Ct from the baseline value with no inhibitor present.
