The Quant-iT Kits, 1,000 assay size, help provide the ultimate in convenience for DNA, RNA or protein quantitation in microplates. These are a great choice for quantitating 20–2,000 samples at a time.

The Quant-iT Kits for use with microplate readers include:

  • Concentrated Quant-iT dyes for high accuracy and sensitivity
  • Eight pre-diluted standards for generating the standard curve
  • Ready-to-use 1x buffer
  • Standardized protocols for automation-level efficiency, even for labs without robotics

Figure 1. Quant-iT High-Sensitivity DNA Assay Kit. The Quant-iT dsDNA Assay Kit, High Sensitivity has a linear detection range of 0.2–100 ng and is selective for dsDNA, even in the presence of an equal mass of RNA. The x-axis gives the mass of nucleic acid when DNA or RNA is assayed alone; in the 1:1 mixture, the total mass of nucleic acid is double the amount shown. The inset shows the sensitivity of the assay for DNA.
Figure 2. Quant-iT RNA Assay Kit. The Quant-iT RNA Assay Kit has a linear detection range of 5–100 ng and is selective for RNA, even in the presence of an equal mass of DNA. The x-axis gives the mass of nucleic acid when DNA or RNA is assayed alone; in the 1:1 mixture, the total mass of nucleic acid is double what is stated.
Figure 3. Quant-iT Protein Assay Kit. The Quant-iT Protein Assay Kit has a detection range of 0.25–5 μg. This graph shows the signal generated from nine different proteins over the stated detection range. The protein-to-protein variability at the 3 μg point for all nine proteins assayed is 12%.

Quant-iT ReadyPlates

Quant-iT PicoGreen and RiboGreen ReadyPlates enable a rapid, simplified, and sensitive method for nucleic acid quantification. These 96-well plates come prefilled with buffer and respective reagents, offering bright green fluorescence upon binding to DNA or RNA. The streamlined assay protocols require users to simply hydrate the wells, add the provided standards and unknown samples, incubate for two minutes, and measure fluorescence with a microplate reader.

Quant-iT PicoGreen™ and RiboGreen ReadyPlate features:

  • Preloaded convenience—96-well plate prefilled with buffer and reagent for easy setup
  • Rapid and simple protocol—hydrate, add standards and samples, incubate for two minutes, and measure fluorescence
  • High sensitivity—quantifies small amounts of nucleic acids with high accuracy
  • Wide quantification range:
    • PicoGreen: 0.2–200 ng of DNA (0.002–2 ng/μL with 100 μL samples)
    • RiboGreen: 1–200 ng of RNA (0.01–2 ng/μL with 100 μL samples)
