The 2X Environmental Master Mix is specifically formulated to detect specific bacterial pathogens with greater specificity and sensitivity. It includes AmpliTaq Gold DNA Polymerase, LD, which is a highly purified version of AmpliTaq Gold DNA Polymerase. Every effort has been made in the development of this new polymerase to eliminate bacterial DNA from the enzyme preparation.
