Description

Ammonium carbonate is suitable as a leavening agent, pH-control agent, dough strengthener and texturizer. It may be used as a dispersant for SiO2 nano particles for dynamic light scattering, Z-potential, and centrifugal liquid sedimentation measurements and in the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles. It may also be used as an eluent in the separation of silica nanoparticles by asymmetric flow field-flow fractionation (AF4) coupled to inductively coupled plasma mass . It was used in experiment to distinguish 26 different phenolic components and in Capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS/MS) as rapid screening technique.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
