Sodium phosphate buffer is used routinely in the life sciences. It is been also used for PEGylation of proteins at pH 7.4 and a concentration of 50 mM. Sodium phosphate buffer solution may be used in the preparation of a wide variety of phosphate based biological buffers for use in cell and molecular biology application.
