Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (100%), Rat (100%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-110830. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Human SUG1 (also known as p45, Rpt6 and Cim3) is a component of the 19S regulatory subunit of the 26S proteosome complex. It is one of the AAA ATPas found in the 19S regulatory complex that is thought to participate in the unfolding of ubiquitinated proteins in an ATP-dependent manner. It has also been shown to directly interact with the nucleotide excision repair protein XPB.
