This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-82795. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
CHD1 is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling factor, containing two tandem chromodomains. In human both chromodomains are essential for specific binding to histone H3, methylated at lysine 4. CHD1 belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family and contains also one helicase ATP-binding domain and one helicase C-terminal domain. It may play an important role in gene regulation.
