This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-83622. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
CRIP2 is a 208-amino acid protein containing 2 LIM domains and shares 93% amino acid sequence identity with its rat homolog, called Esp1 or Crp2. Northern blot analysis showed widespread tissue expression of the 1.3-kb CRIP2 mRNA, with the highest level of expression found in heart. In testis, a second 1.7-kb mRNA was also detected.
