HyPerforma™ Single-Use Bioreactors, 2000L, Jacketed, DC motor, with load cell

The 2,000 L Thermo Scientific™ HyPerforma™ Single-Use Bioreactor (S.U.B.), jacketed, DC motor, with load cell, is designed using traditional stainless steel bioreactor principles to ensure optimal cell culture performance. The S.U.B. is a fully functional bioreactor vessel including single-use sterile contact surfaces for mixing, venting, sparging and temperature sensing. The complete line of HyPerforma S.U.B.s include 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 L sizes that ensure consistent scalability from pilot-scale studies, pre-clinical to commercial production.

Features
• Unique proprietary mixing system that enables conventional overhead mixing while maintaining sterility and integrity of the S.U.B. BioProcess Container (BPC).
• Minimized vessel footprint and reduced hold-up volumes.
• Bioreactor vessel is offered with electrical heating blanket or water jacket (vessel sides and bottom) for integration with external temperature control unit.
• Offered with choice of AC or DC motor with precise agitation control.
• Option to choose the bioreactor vessel as an open architecture system or complete turnkey system with a choice of dedicated controls from the Finesse™ or Applikon™ families of control systems for bioproduction. These systems work on PC, Delta V™, Allen-Bradley™ or Siemens™ software platforms.
• Choice of sparging in combination of drilled-hole sparger with frit or open pipe sparger with frit, to facilitate efficient mass transfer CO2 stripping.
• Option to use electrochemical or single-use sensors for pH, DO and pressure monitoring.
• Possible to add condenser for 1,000 L and 2,000 L units, depending on process need.

Applications of the Thermo Scientific HyPerforma S.U.B. include:
• Batch, fed batch and perfusion cultures.
• Suspension and microcarrier cultures.
• Proven for various cell lines such as CHO, Sp2/0 hybridoma, PER.C6, HEK293, Vero, MDCK, etc.
