Descripción

1-Ethylpiperazine is used in the synthesis of 2-(2-methoxy-5-((4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)sulfonyl)phenyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole hydrochloride and 2-(5-((4-ethylpiperazin-1-yl)sulfonyl)-2-methoxyphenyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidazole hydrochloride. It is also employed as an intermediate in veterinary medicine, especially in the production of ciproflmoxacin ethyl. Further, it serves as a precursor to prepare dyes.

Aplicaciones
La 1-etilpiperazina se utiliza en la síntesis del hidrocloruro de 2-(2-metoxi-5-((4-metilpiperazin-1-il)sulfonil)fenil)-1H-benzo[d]imidazol y el hidrocloruro de 2-(5-((4-etilpiperazin-1-il)sulfonil)-2-metoxifenil)-1H-benzo[d]imidazol. También se emplea como intermedio en la medicina veterinaria, especialmente en la producción de etilo de ciproflmoxacina. Además, sirve como precursor para preparar tintes.
