Allgemeine Beschreibung
- Tyramin ist ein natürlich vorkommendes Monoamin, das aus der Decarboxylierung des in menschlichen und wirbellosen Nervensystemen vorkommenden Aminosäuretyrosins gewonnen wird.
- Tyramin aus Neuronen synthetisiert und freigesetzt und wirkt als Neuromodulator bei der Bindung an Tyraminrezeptoren.
- Es wurde nachgewiesen, dass sich Tyramin beim Menschen auf das Immunsystem und das Herz-Kreislauf-System auswirkt.
Anwendungen
- Tyramin lässt sich zur Produktion von Tyramidkonjugat nutzen, das als Signalamplifikationsreagenz in Immunfluoreszenz-Assays verwendet werden kann.
- Tyramin-Hyaluronsäure-Konjugate lassen zur Produktion biologisch abbaubarer Hydrogele verwenden und sind somit für die Arzneimittelverabreichung und Gewebezüchtung von Nutzen.
- Tyramin ist nützlich für Laboruntersuchungen zur neuronalen Stimulation
