Beschreibung
Used in the bromination of benzylic positions under sunlamp irradiation. Employed as chain transfer agent for radical polymerization of methacrylates. It can also be employed as brominating reagent of active hydrogen compounds.

Anwendungen
Wird bei der Bromierung benzylischer Positionen unter Sonneneinstrahlung verwendet. Wird als Kettentransfermittel zur radikalen Polymerisation von Methacrylaten eingesetzt. Kann auch als bromierendes Reagenz von aktiven Wasserstoffverbindungen eingesetzt werden.
Löslichkeit
Nicht mischbar oder schwer in Wasser mischbar.

Von Oxidationsmitteln entfernt aufbewahren Vor elektrostatischen Aufladungen schützen.
