Description

Sodium-1-octanesulfonate is used as a reagent for HPLC analysis of organic compounds, and more specifically, peptides and proteins. It is also extensively used as an ion pairing agent. Sodium-1-octanesulfonate is found to interact with human serum albumin. It is also used as an ion complexation agent for N-nitrosodiethanolamine.
