Description

It finds its applications as a reagent for Wittig olefinations with introduction of a 1,3-dioxolane moiety. It is applied as a reactant for the preparation of a ratiometric fluorescent probe for specific detection of cysteine over homocysteine and glutathione, for microwave-assisted synthesis of KN-93 as inhibitor of calmodulin kinase II, for the preparation of fluorinated spirobenzofuran piperidines as s1 receptor ligands, in the synthesis and antitumor agents, in regio-selective preparation of indole derivatives via rhodium-catalyzed domino hydroformylation/indolization.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
