Descripción

It is applied as a reagent for synthesis of medium-ring amines via N-alkylation, e.g. with ω-bromo alkanols under Mitsunobu conditions (DEAD/PPh3), and cyclization of the resulting ω-bromo alkylsulfonamides (Cs2CO3/Bu4NI). It is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It is employed as a reactant involved in synthesis of cyclic nitrogen compounds via intramolecular hydroamination, pentacyclic lycopodium alkaloid huperzine-Q2, pyrrolidines, intermolecular C-H insertion reactions and reactant involved in intermolecular amination of allyl alcohols.

Aplicaciones
Se aplica como reactivo para la síntesis de aminas de anillo mediano mediante N-alquilación, por ejemplo, con ω-bromo alcanoles en las condiciones de Mitsunobu (DEAD/PPh3), y la ciclización de las ω-bromo alquilsulfonamidas resultantes (Cs2CO3/Bu4NI). Es un inhibidor de la anhidrasa carbónica. Se emplea como reactante implicado en la síntesis de compuestos de nitrógeno cíclico mediante hidroaminación intramolecular, huperzina-Q2 alcaloide de licopodio pentacíclico, pirrolidinas, reacciones de inserción C-H intermoleculares y reactante implicado en la aminación intermolecular de alcoholes de alilo.

Solubilidad
Ligeramente soluble en agua.
