Descripción

4-Aminostyrene undergoes graft copolymerization with poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE)1 and Si surface,2 followed by oxidative copolymerization with aniline. Thus, it renders PTFE and Si surface conductive.1 4-VAn is coupled with hydrogen terminated Si surfaces for electroless metal and synthetic metal deposition.3 Palladium(II) schiff base complexes derived from Allylamine and vinylaniline has been reported.4 It also acts as a second surfactant for coating nanomagnetic particles.5 It is used in functionalization of single-walled carbon nanotube through solvent free functionalization.

Aplicaciones
El 4-aminoestireno experimenta copolimerización de injerto con poli(tetrafluoroetileno) (PTFE)1 y superficie de Si, 2 seguida de copolimerización oxidativa con anilina. Así, hace que la superficie de PTFE y Si sea conductiva.1 4-VAn se acopla con superficies de Si con terminación de hidrógeno para deposición de metal sin electricidad y metal sintético.3 Paladio(II) se han notificado complejos de base de Schiff derivados de alilamina y vinilanilina.4 También actúa como un segundo surfactante para el recubrimiento de partículas nanomagnéticas.5 Se utiliza en la funcionalización de nanotubos de carbono de pared única a través de funcionalización libre de solventes.

Solubilidad
Soluble en benceno, acetona y metanol.

Notas
Mantener el recipiente bien sellado. Almacenar en un lugar fresco y seco y en recipientes bien sellados. Incompatible con los agentes oxidantes.
