Selectively isolate Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli from human, animal, avian and environmental specimens with Thermo Scientific™ Oxoid™ Campylobacter Selective Agar (Skirrow). The medium is recommended for the isolation of Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli from fecal samples. The medium was devised to overcome the practical difficulties associated with the fecal filtrate culture technique described by Butzler1. Furthermore for optimal selectivity Campylobacter Selective Agar (Skirrow) can be incubated at 42°C.
