Isolate and detect Listeria monocytogenes from food samples using Thermo Scientific™ Chromogenic Listeria Agar (ISO), a specially formulated media which conforms to ISO 11290-1 and 11290-2. The expression of the phospholipase C enzyme produced by L. monocytogenes and Listeria ivanovii creates a unique opaque white halo around the L. mono colony which is the diagnostic criteria necessary to differentiate from non-pathogenic Listeria spp.
Use this medium for the isolation, enumeration and presumptive identification of Listeria spp.
