Description

4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylbenzoic acid is widely used as a reagent for potent TTR amyloidogenesis inhibitors. It plays an important role as an intermediate in agrochemicals and dyestuffs. It is also used in the preparation of mexiletine derivatives.

Applications
L’acide 4-hydroxy-3,5-diméthylbenzoïque est largement utilisé comme réactif pour les inhibiteurs puissants de l’amyloïdogenèse TTR. Il joue un rôle important d’intermédiaire dans les produits agrochimiques et les colorants. Il est également utilisé dans la préparation des dérivés de la mexilétine.

Solubilité
Soluble dans le méthanol.

Remarques
Tenir à l’écart de la chaleur et à l’abri de toute lumière excessive. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants.
