beta-Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate reduced tetrasodium salt hydrate is used as NADP+/NADPH redox pair is used in a variety of antioxidation mechanism where it protects agains reactive oxidation species accumulation. NADPH is generated in vivio by the pentose phosphate pathway.

Applications
Le sel tétrasodique hydraté pauvre en bêta-nicotinamide adénine dinucléotide phosphate est utilisé comme paire redox NADP+/NADPH dans une variété de mécanismes d’antioxydation où il protège contre l’accumulation de dérivés réactifs de l’oxydation. Le NADPH est généré in vivo par la voie des pentoses phosphates.

Il est soluble dans 10 mM de NaOH.
