2,3-Dimethyl-1,3-butadiene undergoes Diels Alder cycloaddition reaction and it also participates in polymerization reactions. It is also involved in manufacturing of synthetic rubber.

Applications
Le 2,3-diméthyl-1,3-butadiène subit une réaction de cycloaddition de Diels Alder et participe également aux réactions de polymérisation. Il est également impliqué dans la fabrication de caoutchouc synthétique.

Solubilité
Miscible au chloroforme. Immiscible avec l’eau.

Remarques
Stocker dans un endroit frais. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
