1-Chloromethyl-4-fluoro-1,4-diazoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane bis(tetrafluoroborate) is used as a reagent for electrophilic fluorination and also acts as a selective oxidizing agent. It is a highly effective and versatile source of electrophilic fluorine and also used in the synthesis of organofluorine.

Applications
Le 1-chlorométhyl-4-fluoro-1,4-diazoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane bis(tétrafluoroborate) est utilisé comme réactif pour la fluoration électrophile et agit également comme agent oxydant sélectif. Il s’agit d’une source de fluor électrophile très efficace et polyvalente, également utilisée dans la synthèse de l’organofluor.

Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau, l’acétonitrile, l’alcool, l’acétone, le diméthylformamide, la pyridine et le diméthylsulfoxyde.

Remarques
Sensible à l’humidité. Incompatible avec les agents oxydants puissants, les agents réducteurs, les acides forts et les bases.
