The QuantiGene Plex Human Immune Response Panel, 80-plex, enables the study of immune function by analyzing 80 RNA targets and biomarkers in a single well using Luminex xMAP technology in combination with branched DNA signal amplification. Analyze 80 cytokine, chemokine, and growth factor targets simultaneously for efficient immune response profiling, biomarker discovery, and validation.

QuantiGene Plex panels are extensively tested for target combinability, interference, and cross-reactivity to provide a high level of validation and precision. This kit is not compatible with the MAGPIX instrument.

This panel is used in combination with the QuantiGene Plex Assay Kit, which contains all buffers, plates, and detection reagents necessary to perform the assay in 96-well plates. For detailed information see www.thermofisher.com/QGP-ordering.

Features of the QuantiGene Plex Human Immune Response Panel, 80-plex, include:
True multiplexing—measure 80 genes of interest and housekeeping genes in the same well with no cross-reactivity
Accommodation of difficult sample types—works with degraded and cross-linked RNA in FFPE tissues and blood
Standardized platform—uses 96-plate format compatible with Luminex 200, FLEXMAP3D, and INTELLIFLEX systems; 384-well format available on demand
Simple workflow—employs an ELISA-like workflow with direct hybridization of transcripts to beads and transcript labeling (branched DNA signal amplification and PE readout)
Customize with validated targets—if alternative targets are needed in this panel, select from our large inventory of over 22,000 genes to create custom research panels
Rapid turnaround for this catalogue panel for fast delivery

Panel and signal amplification technology
QuantiGene Plex assays are hybridization-based assays for the direct quantitation of RNA directly from cell lysates, tissue homogenates, or purified RNA, and they enable the measurement of multiple targets in the same well via multiplexing. QuantiGene Plex panels contain two components: a target-specific probe set and magnetic capture beads. They use the target-specific probes to capture the RNA of interest, and branched DNA technology then amplifies fluorescent signals which are read with a Luminex xMAP instrument. The fluorescent signal is directly proportional to the amount of target mRNA present in the sample. This allows for (relative) quantification of gene expression and with this specific panel enables human immune profiling. Detailed and step-by-step data analysis is facilitated via the QuantiGene Plex data analysis app.

Applications
QuantiGene Plex assay research applications include compound screening of drug candidates, biomarker verification, siRNA knockdown efficiency, prospective and/or retrospective analysis of clinical samples, microarray validation, predictive toxicology, and detection of translocations and fusion genes. In general, any multiplex gene expression analysis can be done with QuantiGene Plex panels, independent of species or sample type.
