Dionex™ ASE™ Prep Sorbent Cartridges

Chromatograms show lower backgrounds and fewer interfering substances after cleanup using Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ASE™ Prep Sorbent Cartridges. Use these cartridges for post-extraction cleanup of organic contaminants from solid and semi-solid matrices typically obtained from environmental, biofuel, and food and beverage industries. As part of a workflow, Dionex ASE Prep Sorbent Cartridges can be used after extraction on the Dionex ASE Accelerated Solvent Extractor and before to GC, GC/MS and LC/MS analysis.

Easy to use

Both the analytes of interest and the matrix interferences are retained and concentrated on the cartridge. The analytes are eluted with a weak solvent while polar matrix interferences remain on the cartridge.

Choose from four chemistries

Dionex ASE Prep Florisil Cartridges

• A selective synthetic form of magnesium silicate and a normal-phase sorbent
• Removes polar interferences from extracts prior to GC or GC-MS analysis

Dionex ASE Alumina Neutral Cartridges

• Concentrates aldehydes, ketones, quinones, esters, lactones, and glycosides from extracts prior to GC or GC-MS analysis

Dionex ASE Alumina Base Cartridges

• Concentrates polar analytes including pesticides, herbicides, and organic pollutants from extracts prior to GC or GC-MS analysis

Dionex ASE Alumina Acid Cartridges

• Concentrates polar analytes such as vitamins from extracts prior to GC or GC-MS analysis.
