The Thermo Scientific™ PREBOS Pre-Blending Optimization Software is a powerful solution for blend proportioning that uses the data generated by online elemental analyzers to control stockpile quality and consistency for cement and coal operations. From high frequency chemical composition data, it determines and automatically issues feed rate percent demands for multiple feedstocks to meet a target stockpile composition, simultaneously minimizing stockpile variability and costs. PREBOS enhances manual control or can be used for full automated stockpile composition control (blending or non-blending type), depending on operational requirements. Use it to reduce or eliminate active blending in homogenization silos, to optimize the use of different cement and coal feedstocks, and to minimize the chemical variability of plant feedstocks to drive up operational profitability, reduce fuel consumption and minimize carbon footprint.
