Description

Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid dipotassium salt dihydrate is used to eliminate inhibition of enzyme catalyzed reactions due to traces of heavy metals. It is involved in the study of chelators, biochemicals and reagents as well as in the study of the three dimensional hierarchy structures from self-assembly of quantum dots. It also acts as a catalyst by partially removing thiol stabilizers from the nanoparticle surface to induce the stabilization reaction of CdTe nanoparticles.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
