Validation Procedure:

HeLa cells were reverse transfected with 5 nM gene-specific Silencer^® Select siRNA or 5 nM Silencer^® Select Negative Control #2 siRNA. 48 hours post-transfection, RNA was isolated, and then two-step, quantitative RT-PCR was performed using an appropriate TaqMan^® Gene Expression Assay. 18S rRNA was used as an endogenous control. Validation results are expressed as average percent mRNA remaining, relative to Negative Control siRNA-treated samples, along with the standard deviation of multiple independent experiments.
