This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-51577. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
C6orf15, also named as Protein STG, is a 325 amino acid protein, which as a secreted protein is expressed in skin and tonsils. The calculated molecular weight of C6orf15 is 34 kDa, but we detected a 50-55 kDa protein by western blot. C6orf15 may contains some modified residues.
