KingFisher Presto System

The Thermo Scientific KingFisher Presto is a versatile benchtop sample preparation instrument that integrates with a compatible robotic liquid handler (required) for hands-free automation. It offers consistent, ultrahigh-throughput extraction and purification of DNA, RNA, proteins, and cells.

      Protocols and software

      Thermo Scientific BindIt software is included with KingFisher Duo Prime, Flex, and Presto instruments. The software makes it easy to create, download, run, modify, and store protocols for your KingFisher applications. The software allows you to define and edit steps, parameters, plates, and reagents for every part of your protocol—bind, wash, and elute.

      Applications

      The KingFisher Presto can gently and efficiently isolate and purify nucleic acids, proteins, and cells from a range of sample types for a wide variety of downstream applications.       Robotic liquid handlers

      Many commercial robotic liquid handlers are compatible with KingFisher Presto. Contact your KingFisher sales representative or your preferred vendor to see if they have developed and tested a KingFisher interface.
