Bell Jars

Bell Jars

Bell jars are typically used to create and encompass a vacuum. Placed on a base connected to a vacuum pump hose, bell jars remove contained air by suction. Bell jars are specially built to withstand vacuum pump pressure. Transparent PC or amber PEI bell jars are useful for degassing operations and freeze-drying. Available products include Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ Vacuum Chambers, which are constructed to eliminate failure or destruction risks at full vacuum.
